The passing of Michael Clarke Duncan comes as a real shocker. I was sure that he’d pull through from the heart attack he suffered from a few months ago, but like all losses, there is never a perfect time.
I enjoyed watching every role MCD has been in, from the Green Mile, to Mission Impossible. Given his robustness, and his deep voice, it would have been easy for MCD to get typed casted in hollywood, but he proved to be versatile, and the perfect co-star. From digging ditches for the gas company in Chicago, to an Academy Award nominee, Michael Clark Duncan is an example of Hollywood dreams becoming reality.
Michael Clarke Duncan was 54, he will be missed….with that said, cherish every day, because you never know when it’s your last….until it IS your last…
