Now that I have looked out the window and wish apon a star, that my cabbage patch doll be infused with magic and come to life in a TED kinda way, not in a DOLLS kinda way, I can now tell you all about the movie TED.
Would you expect anything less than fall out funny from a movie Directed, and Produced by Seth Mcfarlane?
No.
TED is the ephiphony of wise guy funny. Wrapped in a story about a socially outcasted boy and his teddy bear, TED, who magically comes to life, the movie pays homage to all things 1985, and done in a way that could have only come from the comedic mind that is Seth Mcfarlane.
Although at times I didn’t know whether to laugh of whether this was Seth’s way of coming out of the closet, TED provided non stop laughter and nostalgic visuals for the average 80′s baby.
Mark Wahlburg delivers a lovable performance as TED thunder buddy John Benentt, I swear that man can do no wrong, and Mila Kunis plays a strong support as Lori, Girlfriend to John.
My favorite scene was when John and TED were getting stoned before John had to go to work at the car rental spot, and TED drove John to work, and the Prostitute scene was quite entertaining as well. “Is that a Sh#t on the floor!?”
I was entertained, and I didn’t regret spending the $12.50 for the ticket, so that’s makes TED a good movie in my book.
FYI: This movie isn’t for those who lack a funny bone, or indulge in logical humor. It a must that you leave all logic, and all hangups at the concession stand before seeing this movie.
