My worst nightmare comes to television. A world without power, and mankind being sent back to the Flintstone era. It literally is a phobia of mine.
Revolution premiered yesterday on NBC.
Although I’m not crazy about the “Lost” formula of television, where story lines work in reverse, I give a series four episodes, give or take, before I decide whether I’m in our out.
We really don’ get to know too much about the characters, one could argure that they were set up poorly. Ok, I’m arguing that the characters were set up poorly. It’s my opinion that they blew their wad on the set and missed combing over the script. I did enjoy the look, and post apocalyptic Chicago was well portrayed, but I was expecting more than what I got from this first episode. It didn’t give me the awe like the firsts of ‘Happily Ever After’, ‘Grimm’ or ‘Chicago Code’ (which should have never been cancelled by the way).
While I’m not excited about the next episode, I will be watching because like I said before, it takes 3 to 4 episodes for me to determine if this is a flop.
So we’ll se where Revolution is going to take us.
