Smells like a ReCasting: ‘Two and a Half Men’ star apologizes for offending cast and crew

Shown is a framegrab of a You Tube video with "two and a Half Men" star Angus Jones, who plays "Jake", lwft, talking with a spiritual friend about who the show is "filth" and he adises fans of the show to "stop watching". The hot link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qGswHSwi7z8

LOL……  So this came across my Google Entertainment News feed.

Angus T. Jones, the kid turned man on the hit CBS show Two and a Half Men is caught on tape speaking praises to God, but not so much for his employer.

Omg the video is 14 minutes long, does anyone know where the Two and a Half Men diss is because I really don’t want to sit through this whole thing.

skimming……..skimmmming……skimmmming…… damn I can’t find it.

Ok starting it over, Imma have to sit through this. *sigh*

Whooo finally here we are at 8:01 in the video.. geeze…..

Jones says,

“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men.   I’m on Two and a Half Men, I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it.”

Omg, Angus T has drank the special Kool-Aid!

Sounds like a resignation to me!  Angus done put on some Malcolm X classes and has lost his rabbit ass mind.

Ouuuu you poor thing having to play pretend on a award wining sitcom for 10 years, making millions, your suffrage is so touching, you’re bound to the show by invisible chains, because you are there, but you don’t want to be there…….*gaag*

I could not believe what he said about the show in this video!  In my book, that’s a resignation, and I’m pretty sure there’s a clause in his contract that doesn’t allow him to speak badly about the show.

I think A.T. is on that stuff….you know……the white stuff…….

And his rant about “liking Black people” made me want to hop through my computer monitor and shake em.  He said “I like black people,” like black folk needed his validation, boy if you don’t go somewhere with all of THAT!  You said “no offense”, but that ish, was offensive, Sincerely, a black person.

Since this video,  Angus has renewed his contract wit TAAHM for the next season at $8 million, claiming God told him to do it…..It’s good when you can resolve $8 million dollar convictions with the man upstairs….. I’m glad they worked it out.

Angus told TMZ

“I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed, I never intended that.”

I really don’t know how you can misinterpret, “it’s filth,” and ” stop watching Two and a Half Men.”

Angus T Jones……get yo butt in the corner!  I can’t even put him in time out, he’s REVOKED, card pulled. I’m full out DONE with you, BlackListed, and YOUR FIRED. BE GONE. BYE.

What do you make of all this? Should Angus be axed? Blame it on the Jesus Juice?

Lazy Hollywood: CBS Orders Script for Reboot of The Brady Bunch

As if there weren’t a plethora of original, and good material available. It seems that major networks are “playing it safe” by trying to revitalize any formerly successful sitcom that they can.

With the success of Dynasty reboot, I knew it was only a matter of time before others would come to the surface, and the latest chitter chatter is form the CBS studio lot, and it’s about the Brady Bunch.

Vince Vaughn has been named the Executive Producer, along with Lloyd Schwartz who is the son of the producer of the original series,  Sherwood Schwarts.

The reboot will revolve around divorced dad Bobby Brady, as we recall was the youngest son in the original series, who’s remarried to a women with children of her own.  (the blended family dynamic with the trials and tribulations of co-parenting with exes…. so original…)

I love me some Vince Vaughn, he is a comedic great of my time, but the reboots are killing me, when there are so many talent peole with great ideas for NEW, and FRESH sitcoms. geeze louise.

AnyWho,

Congrats Vince on becoming richer, and giving some of the original casts members of the Brady Bunch who are still alive a job.

Stop Hatin’ on the Brady Bunch Ronique

I will not. That ship has sailed, let it dock somewhere else.

LIVE! Martin Lawrence to Return to Network TV, You Go Boy!

In the summer of 2009 I saw Martin Lawrence in a stand up show at Palms in Las Vegas. There was no question that he could still bring the funny, and it was evident that funny just in his DNA. It was one of the most he-lar-i-ous stand up comedy shows I have ever seen in my life, and he made it seem effortless, like he had just walked out on stage to talk to the crowd for 2 hours. All that to say,  I’m a Fan.

Now 15 years after the Martin Show went off of the air in 1997 and left my life incomplete, I am overly elated to hear that Martin Lawrence signed a development deal with CBS in the fall of 2011 and will be returning to our living rooms soon with a new sitcom, run tell dat!

As it stands right now, ole Marti-Mar is in the midst of two sitcom ideas. The first was developed by “Bernie Mac” creator Larry Wilmore where Martin would play a single man who becomes a foster parent to several children along with his sister. The second idea by Tom Hertz, the man behind “Rules Of Engagement” came up with a different plot where Martin would be a family man trying to keep his kids grounded while facing off with his wealthy in-laws. It is buzzed that the network will make a decision in the next few weeks on which direction the network will go!

I will admit, I a wee bit nervous on whether CBS knows what to do with such a comedic gem that Martin Lawrence is. My hopes are that he doesn’t get filtered out too much. Sometimes comedians and network tv sometimes don’t work, because the network tries to make them into something they are not, and as a result their comedic flavor suffers.

In any case I am excited all the same to see what the product will be, and even more excited to see Martin “You Go Boy” Lawrence back on TV!

WhatChu Think? Which show idea do you think would be best suited for Martin?

Enjoy this classic Martin clip !

Holla,
