As if there weren’t a plethora of original, and good material available. It seems that major networks are “playing it safe” by trying to revitalize any formerly successful sitcom that they can.
With the success of Dynasty reboot, I knew it was only a matter of time before others would come to the surface, and the latest chitter chatter is form the CBS studio lot, and it’s about the Brady Bunch.
Vince Vaughn has been named the Executive Producer, along with Lloyd Schwartz who is the son of the producer of the original series, Sherwood Schwarts.
The reboot will revolve around divorced dad Bobby Brady, as we recall was the youngest son in the original series, who’s remarried to a women with children of her own. (the blended family dynamic with the trials and tribulations of co-parenting with exes…. so original…)
I love me some Vince Vaughn, he is a comedic great of my time, but the reboots are killing me, when there are so many talent peole with great ideas for NEW, and FRESH sitcoms. geeze louise.
AnyWho,
Congrats Vince on becoming richer, and giving some of the original casts members of the Brady Bunch who are still alive a job.
Stop Hatin’ on the Brady Bunch Ronique
I will not. That ship has sailed, let it dock somewhere else.
