Last week Paris Hilton was caught on tape on a night out on the town saying some not so politically correct things about gay people.
Hilton was heard saying that gay people are “disgusting” and “most of them probably have AIDS.” The context of the convo, was that Paris and her two male gay friends where in the cab talking about another acquaintance who hooked up with people via the app Grinder. Grinder is an app that allows gay men to meet and ‘hook up’.
I would just shutter at the conversations we would hear if on any given Saturday Night all comfortable conversations amongst friends were recorded.
I’ll tell you what we’d hear, we’d hear a bunch of racist, sexist, homophobic, immoral statements, debates, and back and forth’s. Of course folks want to act all ”brand new” when somebody famous get’s caught in a comfortable conversation, but the truth is our climate of politically correctness has just turned most Americans into posers, one view in the light, and another at the kitchen table.
Most of Paris’ friends are gay men, so obviously she’s not a homophobe. To take her private conversation with her friends on club night seriously, is a waste of news. It’s apparent that last week was a slow entertainment news week, so they had to blow this up.
I’m not a Paris Hilton fan, because she doesn’t do anything to be a fan of, but I think this whole hoopla was unnecessary bs.
