Your Daily Delicious: S’mores Pops

These S’mores Pops are easy, patriotic, and tasty without all of the mess of regular s’mores.

I love eating s’mores but with temperatures over 100 degrees in Florida, camping isn’t going to happen anytime soon. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy your favorite campfire treat inside with plenty of air conditioning.

These S’mores Pops are so simple to make and you can definitely get your kids in on the action. Just a little twist on these s’mores; we’re using Granola Thins in place of the traditional graham cracker. I’ve used graham crackers before for these pops and these Dark Chocolate Granola Thins are so much better. The buttery granola makes these almost gourmet. I say almost because I don’t want to upscale our favorite comfort food too much here and ruin it!

I used chocolate to glue the sticks to the Granola Thins. Just a couple of seconds in the freezer to harden up and they’re all set.

Next cut your marshmallows in half lengthwise and stick them on with some more chocolate glue in any pattern you want! Little or big, it doesn’t matter…it all tastes the same. I found these brightly colored star marshmallows that I thought were beautiful and perfect for the Fourth of July coming up.

We aren’t actually going to dip these s’mores because that can get tricky. It’s easier just to pour the chocolate over the marshmallows and Granola Thins until they’re covered. Place them on some parchment paper and cover in sprinkles, nuts, or toffee bits.

These are great to give away as gifts or to have as party favors. After they’ve set up, wrap them in some clear cellophane and tie them with a cute ribbon.
